Dear Valued customers

We always sincerely appreciate your support & cooperation.

I am writing this letter to inform you container status and request actions for shipping without delay.

As of now, a large number of containers are either stuck in the wrong ports or delayed. Containers are piled up in ports in North America and Europe where they are not needed, while other countries are in desperate need, struggling with container shortage.

The problem with container shortage and lack of space on vessels will most likely not recover until late 2021. Freight rates will continue to stay high, and cargo handling may slow down even more depending on the impact of the corona virus.

I am suggesting you to plan and take place a new PO at least 3 months – 6 months in advance in order to avoid any risk of delay and higher freight rate. The ocean freight is so fluctuating and keep increasing recently, every shipment needs to be confirmed for ocean freight cost in time for ETD.

I will also try to release and ship your pending orders as soon as possible since there is no guarantee that I will be able to ship on time, if this situation persists.

Futhermore, we must to ask a favor the price will go up because of all the suppliers and material sources especially NBR (Nitrile butadiene latex) highly increasing weekly.

We are not able to maintain the current pricing unfortunately. We must offer you the updated price every single order according to this pandemic situation unexpectedly from May 2021.

Your kind understanding would be much appreciated.

If you have any questions regarding of this, do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

SHIN SUNG MAJOR GLOVE CORP.
